Dr. Darcy Fox

At this time of Thanksgiving I would like to take the opportunity to thank you for the outstanding care you have provided to me for the past eleven years. Ever since 1995, when I appeared at your office with an on-the-job-injury, you not only proceeded with your highly skillful and competent care to my neck, shoulder, back, hip, and knee, but you also gave me the courage to persist in your prescribed chiropractic therapy, exercises including walking every day and pursuit of deep tissue massage with your state licensed massage therapists. We all agreed that bones and muscles are dynamically linked, and therefore to pay attention to one without also paying to the other was not doing the body any good, but also contrary to holistic healing. When I recall my first visit to you in 1995, I was barely moving, unable to walk more than shuffling my feet, not able to lift my arm above shoulder height, with constant pain in my neck and back. After three years of this challenging regimen, I was back to my usual self of moving freely, without any pain, and enjoying life again. During that time, when I had to go to outside examiners, I was always confronted with the conventional medicine practitioners' diagnosis that I would not ever have the full use of my shoulder and back unless I went for surgery. They were surprised and dismayed that I would not consent. I promised them that my regimen was superior and going to see me through to a full healthy state that I had known before. They had serious difficulty to believe in my conviction. However I never saw them again. Then from 1998 on, when I went on my vacation, I went hiking in the Cascades, the Okanagan in British Columbia, the Olympic Mountains and the San Juan Islands. I started gardening again, and totally revamped my front and back yard with native plants. More recently changed the median strip in front of my place from non-descript grass to a native plants oasis, where during the height of the blooming periods photographers come to take pictures of the the glorious colors. I have never stopped working and being in my 70's, am looking forward to many more years of living life to the fullest.

You have saved my life in more ways than once, and to this day I am truly thankful to fate that I ever had the chance to meet you. You are an inspiration and truly the best of friends I could ever have wished for.

Being virtually free of back and neck pain has enabled me to play racquetball on a bi-weekly basis and do 100+ mile bike rides per day at the age of 48. When on a rare occasion I feel an acute pain, my recovery time is the next day or two. I attribute this to Dr. Fox's wellness plan of weekly adjustments.
